This performance was recorded in August of 2008 in Reykjavik.
what we have here is half of it, to watch the whole thing go to videos, at top of page..
Here we have started working with audio visual aspects that point the way forward.

About the project
The parabolur performance project PPP is based on the use of old telecommunication radio disc covers that have been converted into percussion instruments.

In 2005 we started experimenting with using these things as instruments and have developed various performances with them since.
The newest incarnation of the PPP centers around the audio visual as the performance from August 23rd clearly states.

We custom make performances for a variety of venues and have performed in various situations in the last few years, both outside and inside.
Occasions as diverse as the Carnegie Art Awards, Performances with the and the opening of the Reykjavik winter festival to name a few...

The instruments themselves are not sensitive to weather conditions, with microphones on the inside and being covers for discs they are used to harsh conditions.
